Meatball Ravioli

April 2, 2018

Guys here comes another delicious pasta recipe that is super easy to make! My sister Jessie and her wonderful family were coming over for dinner and I wanted something easy to make that still tastes amazing... and wala this recipe was born. You can easily make this recipe for just your family or for a large group it is super versatile.

To begin preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then you want to boil your store bought frozen ravioli in a large pot for about 7 minutes until tender. While it is baking you can go ahead and pour your jar of pasta sauce into your casserole dish. Once your pasta is cooked go ahead and strain out all the water. Then you can just pour your cooked ravioli into the casserole dish. Then mix the pasta and sauce until all your ravioli is fully coated.

Then you sprinkle on some of your toppings. First about 1/4 cup of bread crumbs and then 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese. You can do more or less depending on what you like

While you were cooking your ravioli, you can also be prepping your meatballs. What I did was use frozen meatballs (feel free to make your own meatballs if you have the time and desire to do so), and I heated a plate full in the microwave. I only heated them for about 2 minutes I didn't need them fully defrosted since I was going to cook them in the oven later. I just heated them enough that they were easy to chop in half. Once you have all your meatballs chopped in half you can go ahead and cover your pasta creation with them.

Next you sprinkle on some mozzarella cheese. I used about a cup to cover the top of my meatballs. Yes I know, double cheese again... we love cheese! It really does make everything taste better! Then pop it in your preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Serve with a delicious salad and there you have it! A quick and easy dinner that is sure to satisfy your whole family! If your family is anything like mine you will have little or no left overs.

Meatball Ravioli

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees

1 bag frozen ravioli

1 jar pasta sauce

1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1 bag frozen meatballs

1 cup mozzarella cheese

Start by boiling a big pot of water. Then pour in bag of frozen ravioli. Cook for about 7 minutes. While pasta is cooking pour the jar of pasta sauce in your casserole dish. Also put your meatballs on plate and microwave for about 2 minutes. Then cut them all in half and put aside. When the pasta is done cooking strain out the water and pour it into your casserole dish. Next mix your pasta and sauce until it is well coated. Then top with Italian bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Now get those meatballs and cover our pasta. Then sprinkle your mozzarella cheese on top. Pop in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. For the last minute I like to turn my oven to boil so the cheese crisps up a little and starts to bubble. Let cool a little, serve and enjoy!
